PRLog (Press Release) Click for story – Aug 06, 2009 – In a poll conducted by Canoe & Kayak Magazine, Wilderness Systems was voted “Manufacturer of the Year.” Publishers of Canoe & Kayak Magazine solicited the opinions of over 300 retailers, with the results announced at the magazine’s annual industry bash at Outdoor Retailer, Summer Market in Salt Lake City.

“We are tremendously excited to receive this award,” said Sue Rechner, CEO of Confluence Watersports. “Building Wilderness Systems to its full potential has been a labor of love and dedication. Our top priority is building world-class boats with world-class service; so it is our great honor to be recognized by our retail partners for our efforts.”

The award boosts the positive momentum Wilderness Systems has established over the past few years, and solidifies its position as an industry leader.

“When you compare the votes Wilderness Systems received this year versus the past,” said Jim Marsh, publisher of Canoe & Kayak. “Confluence has obviously made a dramatic turnaround since the new team took over.”

Wilderness Systems would like to thank Canoe & Kayak for conducting the poll and presenting the award.
